Printitfromhome must be great. I love you write up about them. Hope I win. : )
I heart IPFH! Also, my daughter now shares her birthday with you and Joy. She's in good company. :D
I hope there isn't a clause that family members can't win. I already win because I share a birthday with you (that's my joke entry) and I'm a photographer so I need some prints (That's not a joke but it may sound like a joke since I paid my college $40,000 to tell me that I'm a photographer when all I really needed was a camera).
haha No, that's fine. And peeps can win multiple times, too! Remember, you can enter up to three times!
1) Jamie is so NICE for doing this (and in general)!
2) I want everyone to know about 1.
#) RE: Joke..See 1 !!! ;p
Bob- best entry so far! hahaha
If it's a bad joke, am I disqualified?
The blond woman had been married about a year when one day the she came running up to her husband jumping for joy. Not knowing how to react, the husband started jumping up and down along with her. "Why are we so happy?" he asked. "Honey, I have some really great news for you!" She said. "Great" he said, tell me what you're so happy about." She stopped jumping and was breathless from all the jumping up and down. "I'm pregnant!" she gasped. The husband was ecstatic as they had been trying for a while. He grabbed her, kissed her, and started telling her how wonderful it was, and that he couldn't be happier. Then she said "Oh, honey there's more." "What do you mean more?", he asked. "Well we are not having just one baby, we are going to have TWINS!" Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, he asked her how she knew. "It was easy" she said, "I went to the pharmacy and bought the 2 pack home pregnancy test kit and both tests came out positive!"
(pst: this is Mary-Anne)
hahaha- That's a good one, Mary-Anne! I'm a twin so I think that's funny :)
All of you work inspires me to try painting i haven't yet but maybe someday.... love lizzy
My nice thing: Even with the 85-degree heat and the ridiculous amount of mosquitoes, my art walk day with Jamie was one of my fondest artsy memories!
My act of kindness: Okay, well this is a future act. I'm going to the coast this weekend with my marine biology class, and a couple of the other girls and I agreed to collect sea glass for my brother to use in his mosaics (in between our collecting of polychaete worms to look at in our lab!).
My joke: (This is actually Ella's favorite joke... say it out loud for the full cheesiness effect)
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Owl.
Owl who?
Owl never tell you.
I have to say that I just love Joy and Jamie to pieces! Meeting them was by far one of the best career enhancing things I could have done!
Jamie introduced me to the Etsy Maine Team which has been fantastic in helping broaden my reach and giving me a whole group of like minded artists to get advice from!
Joy helped me tremendously by becoming my photographer for my products! Her photography standard set the bar really HIGH for others to follow! Her pics still grace my Etsy shop, my brochures and all my posters for my booth. Thank you for making me look professional!
I would love to win this because we have recently moved and my walls need some new art! I want my walls to be happy! :-)
I have a 6 six year old so all my jokes are not funny! Actually that's kind of funny. He thinks everyday is April Fools so you never know what will happen!
Wow! If I had known you had a blog, I might have had an easier time recognizing you at Common Ground this weekend!
So you're an ambassador... wow! Does that give you diplomatic immunity? (In NYC it could save you a parking ticket!) Jamie, I'm glad you have already established that family members can win because, though not many people know this, you and I are twins. <-- I guess that's my joke.
All kidding aside, I've seen your work (examined at close range, in shared space over the length of an entire Artwalk evening!) and it's wonderful. I suppose a small part of the credit for that could be thanks to PrintItFromHome :-)
PS Oh yeah-- do something nice. (Do I HAVE to?!) OK-- I'll tell someone else about your opportunity giveaway. That's nice, twice! :-)
Said Jamie, "Just go to my blog"
Win prizes and don't be a hog.
Just say something nice
And that will suffice
So cheer up and go drink some grog!

Nice, nice, baby!
A Border Collie went to a telegram office, took out a blank form and wrote, “Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof.”
The clerk examined the paper and politely told the dog: “There are only nine words here. You could send another ‘Woof’ for the same price.”
“But..” the dog replied, “that would make no sense at all.”
OK, I'm back! I did something nice for my friend on Sunday--I took her to the Common Ground Fair and bought her ticket and a tank of gas.
Comments and giveaway are now closed!! Look for the next post to announce winners!!
